Museo Arqueologic (Archaeology)
This museum is housed in the impressive walls of Dalt Vila, the old fort which dominates the skyline of Ibiza Town, the island’s capital. Situated next to the cathedral, you can see ancient relics and archaeological pieces from Sa Caleta, a Phoenician ruin. Also displayed are artefacts from Carthaginian, Roman and Moorish ages. The steep walk is well worth the end result, and the pretty streets of the Dalt Vila are dotted with bars, restaurants and shops to entertain you on your way.?The Museum also had more on display at the Puig des Molins necropolis, a short walk from Dalt Vila.

Museo de Arte Contemporaneo MAC (Contemporary Art Museum)
Also in the old town, the Museum of Contemporary Art plays home to some to the islands most celebrated artists. The building itself is an old powder store and armoury dating back to the 18th century. On permanent display you will find works from celebrated Ibicencan artist Mari Ribas Portmany, alongside changing exhibitions from other international and local painters.

Ethnological Museum of Ibiza
Head to Santa Eulalia and visit this old finca (traditional style house). This museum offers an insight into an Ibiza of an age long ago, with exhibits including cultural items such as tools, clothing and jewellery.

Galeria Es Moli
In the pretty village of Santa Gertrudis, this private house homes a fantastic collection of modern art and photography, all relating to Ibiza past and present. The village itself is charming and has a great number of excellent restaurants and shops to visit on your trip.

Galeria Van der Voort
Cited by many critics to be the best gallery on the island, the art gallery in Ibiza Town displays many important works of art from both local and international artists across all genres.
