Ibiza has many beaches where it is acceptable to disrobe (some more private than others), making it an ideal destination for those who enjoy nude bathing.
For novice nude bathers, the laid back ambience means if you are a little apprehensive to begin with, the feeling will not last long. Here are some of Ibiza’s best nudist beaches, for those who enjoy being completely at one with nature.
Aguas Blancas
Becoming more popular with each passing year, Aguas Blancas (pictured above) is located along the coast road north of Es Canar, just past Es Figueral. It boasts a long sandy coastline and clear blue waters.
Tiny islands pierce the sea and age old rock sculptures litter the beach, accentuating the relaxed attitude. During high season it can get busy so for more seclusion, a short swim or wade through the sea around the cliffs to the south of the beach reveals a satellite beach away from the crowds.
Es Cavallet
An official nudist beach and widely considered to be one of the finest in the world. A 10 minute drive south from Ibiza town along the coast road leads to this beautiful beach.
Nature is king as rolling green hills slope down towards the golden sands and into crystal clear blue waters. Two beach bars provide the entertainment and facilities in the summer months, although the beach and surrounding areas offer seclusion if required.
A truly stunning beach.
Cala Conta
A dedicated nudist area can be found adjacent to the main beach. A 10 minute drive from San Antonio and extremely popular in high season.
As with many other beaches, the expansive rocky coastline offers the opportunity to find your own piece of paradise. Natural coves created by the sea are waiting to be discovered, seemingly a world away from the many who flock here for the amazing sunsets.
The sun sets between the islands of S’Espartar and Conillera, giving an unforgettable experience.
Las Salinas
Equally popular with partygoers, starspotters and families, Salinas is an Ibiza institution.
Situated on the southern tip of Ibiza, just 6km from Playa d’en Bossa, the surrounding area is a Wildlife Conservation Area and it is easy to see why. Pine-clad countryside funnels you towards the beach, resulting in a kilometre of golden sands with the backdrop of unspoilt woodland.
Excellent facilities, music, and many opportunities for privacy make Salinas perfect.
