The temperatures are rising the sun has made a welcome return, and as her rays grow warmer, the island is heating up in every way, preparing for another season of fabulous fun. As Easter falls early this year, many of our most loved beachclubs are opening their doors for the first wave of visitors, and we can’t wait to be back beachside. There are so many fabulous beachclubs we couldn’t possibly begin to list them all, however here are just a few of our favourites.

Beachouse In a prime location on Playa d’en Bossa’s shoreline, we simply adore the laid back lounge style of Beachouse, where effortless elegance mixes with barefoot boho chic. A combination of luxurious daybeds where you can soak up the healing rays of the Ibizan sun, and the splashes of colour within the charming restaurant area complement each other perfectly. Having changed hands this year, the new menu focuses on a more Mediterranea feel, with an excellent selection of freshly caught fish, organic salads and succulent cuts of meat.

Babylon Beach This rustic yet sublimely stylish chiringuito has been serving a menu made up of divinely organic goodness for six years, and as they move into their seventh season , we can expect only more mouthwatering dishes on the menu at this enticing spot. With much of their produce sourced from their sister farm, Can Pere Mussona, the emphasis is on quality, and this is reflected not only in the decor, but in the innovative cocktail menu and wine list. Book a sunbed for the day and enjoy the view over the spectacular bay of Punta Sa Caleta. A purpose built children’s adventure playground means that this is an ideal destination for families.

Ocean Beach Club If daytime pool parties are more your scene then head over to the west coast of San Antonio, where you can dance the day away at the ever popular Ocean Beach Club. Since it opened in 2005, the club has become quite simply the only place to see and be seen in San An. attracting a young, glamorous crowd. Their pool parties have become legendary and are hosted by favourite promoter such as Kisstory and Soul Heaven. Expect to see a selection of reality tv stars and glamorous celebrities around the pool on any given day!

Cala Bassa Beach Club Just ten minutes away from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio, this blissful beach club has become a must do destination for those seeking the very last work in luxury and comfort. Their exquisite beach beds offer unrivalled views over the crystal clear waters of the bay of Cala Bassa, which are arguably the most beautiful on the island, their startling turquoise hue will stay in your memory for a lifetime. With a choice of four different restaurants, designed to satisfy any palate and budget, we love to spend the day here watching the world go by, whilst our every need is attended to by the dedicated team of waiting staff.

Blue Marlin Quite possibly the most famous of all the beach clubs in Ibiza, this is the club of choice for visiting celebrities, supermodels, footballers and even royalty. Situated in the bay of Cala Jondal you can see a staggering collection of super yachts moored up in the bay each and every day as their occupants drink, dine and dance in the opulent surroundings of the restaurants and bar areas. As the sun goes down, the tempo rises, and the resident DJ’s are joined by very special guests such as island legend Pete Tong to bring the whole crowd to their feet!

El Chiringuito This exquisite beach club sits proudly on the shores of Es Cavallet, close to the famous salt flats of Salinas. Here, the carefully curated menu has been designed to take you seamlessly through from breakfast to lunch and dinner, and indeed, once you arrive, you will never want to leave. With a firm emphasis on the highest quality produce and a dedication to excellence, the restaurant has earned a well deserved reputation for having the very best service on the island, and this ensures that the tables are fully booked from the beginning to the start of the season. A firm favourite with both visitors and island residents.
