Passion Restaurant, Ibiza Town

Following the huge success of Passion Cafe, owner Lana Love opened Passion Restaurant in 2013. On the Marina Botafoch towards Talamanca, it’s more upmarket than the Playa den Bossa café but the theme is the same – organic, fresh and healthy with raw food options. Serving the famous Passion breakfasts, along with salads, wraps and delicious desserts, it’s become THE place for health-junkies after something a bit special.

La Paloma, San Lorenzo

La Paloma is a pretty, garden café and restaurant nestled amongst citrus orchards in the small village of San Lorenzo. It’s modern Mediterranean fare fused with middle-eastern, Asian and North African flavours. Everything is fresh, colourful and full of flavour. The homemade focaccia breads served with three dips are heavenly. Then again, everything on the menu is. Open for both lunch and dinner. Booking in peak season is a must.

Menjabe, San Antonio

Along Carrer del Progres, a few streets back from San Antonio’s harbour, you will find Menjabe. Serving freshly made middle-eastern vegetarian dishes, Menjabe is a welcome relief from the fast food and heavily British and Spanish fare offered in many of San Antonio’s other eateries. Menjabe is famous for their hummus and falafels as well as being great value for money. It’s only open after 7pm, so it’s not a lunchtime option unfortunately.

Out of Time People, Ibiza Town

Out of Time People is a hippy hotspot, serving excellent vegetarian and vegan food. Dishes include quinoa burgers, veggie lasagna, samosas, pita wraps and sandwiches plus smoothies and juices. It can be a little tricky to find, located around the corner from the buzzing Plaza del Parque in Ibiza Town, facing the walls of Dalt Vila. The kitchen is tiny so prepare to wait, but it’s worth it.
