Ibiza in March

The month of March is a wonderful time to visit Ibiza. The island is alive with a wonderful display of spring flowers and greenery at this time of year. Take your chance to explore this magical island without the madding crowds of the summer season.

Weather

Temperatures average 14 degrees in March, making it feel much warmer than most European cities. Plenty of sunshine and a balmy sea temperature of 15 degrees make it a most inviting time of year. The evenings are still very cool so be sure to pack accordingly.

Events

Each March the pretty town of San Jose in the south west of the island comes to life with its annual fiesta. The main event usually takes place on the Saturday which falls closest to 19th March, to celebrate Dia de San José / St. Joseph’s Day. The town is transformed into a Flower Power festival. Street parties, live music and a huge open air disco are all themed with the hippy vibe. The party continues late into the night and is a must for any disco divas amongst you!
