Halloween in Ibiza – The Spookiest End to the Season!


So, another summer has passed, seemingly in the blink of an eye! And as we prepare to bod a fond farewell to a once more glorious season in Ibiza, there´s still time for one final fiesta, Halloween! This devilish day is a very big deal here on the White Island, with many people viewing at as their chance to dig out their most daring costumes, and dance the night away for one last time before settling into winter mode. Children´s Parties

HardRockWeen 2017 at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza – Saturday 28th October from 11am – 6pm

Last year saw the Hard Rock Hotel transform its usually rock n roll themed interior and outside space into t a spooky space, designed especially for family friendly fiendish frolics! This year the event promises to be bigger and better than before, with trick and treating in the hotel rooms, live Halloween themed performances from local dance and performing arts schools, facepainters, live music, bouncy castles and some seriously spooky games! Entrance is free of charge, so get your little devils down there!



Halloween Market & Family Fun Day at Lamuella – Sunday 29th October

Up in the North of the island, the beautiful restaurant and bar Lamuella (previously Aura) will be hosting a Halloween Market and Family Fun Day. Here parents can relax and indulge in a little retail therapy amongst the selection of artisan market stalls, whilst the little ones enjoy the many activities which will be on offer throughout the day. A dedicated arts and crafts area will offer pumpkin decorating and painting spooky pictures, themed games and competitions. There will be a special visit from the favourite characters of the Princess and Superheroes party company, plus a very special live song and dance show from local performing arts academy PQA at 5pm. Seasonal food and drink will be available and entrance is once again free of charge.


Ibiza Mamas Trick or Treat Train Ride – Tuesday 31st October 4pm until 7pm

In Santa Eulalia, it’s all aboard the ghost train as the local Ibiza Mamas group will be touring the town on their specially decorated Halloween train for the third year running. The train will depart at 4pm from the beach at Santa Eulalia, where the river meets the sea… As local legend has it, this is where all the monsters, skeletons, zombies and witches hide! The ghost train will call at the haunted house of Camides Rei, take over the beach at Pura Vida and trick or treat at restaurants Es Pins and Donde Marian Y Miguel … well, this is the plan, but anything could happen on this terror route so be prepared to scare and SCREAM as loud as you can!!! The train will return to town just before nightfall. Tickets are available from Project Social in Santa Eulalia and cost 15€.
Remember to bring your own pumpkin basket for the sweets & toys!



Grown up Ghoulish Gatherings!

The big news this year is that Bambuddha, who have ruled the Halloween party scene for over a decade, have this year handed over the baton to new venues.


Mischief does Halloween at Atzaro – Tuesday 31st October – 6pm until 2am

One of the ones that everyone is talking about is the Mischief party at the beloved agroturismo Atzaro. This usually idyllic setting will be transformed into a freakishly fabulous garden of terror, designed by GnT productions, and with a soundtrack from the Mischiefmakers themselves, JusTom and Blackbeard, plus special guests Jo Mills and DJ Joshua. Expect the unexpected as you walk into the Disco Dungeon, past the Bloody River and cross over to the dark side. Expert makeup artists will be on hand to transform you into your chosen character, plus there is a ´best dressed´ competition with a fabulous prize to be won.



Halloween at Heart Ibiza – Tuesday 31st October – From 1130pm until 0630am

If you find yourself in the capital Ibiza Town, the only place to head to is Herat. After a resounding success with their first ever Halloween extravaganza last year, the dramatic club and restaurant is set to raise the bar even higher with some haunted house music provided by DJ´s Nico Stoja, Oceanvs Orientalis, Hraach, Cris 44 and Ibiza resident Camillo. Fancy dress is compulsory, and if last year´s event was anything to go by, the standard of costumes will be high! So ensure you’re looking your very worst for this one!.

The Brothers Grim Present – The Haunted Hotel at Pikes Tuesday 31st October 9.30pm until 06.30am

Over in San Antonio, no one knows how to throw a party quite like the team at the iconic Pikes Hotel, and they always pull out all the stops for Halloween! This year promises to be no exception, with a stellar cast of DJ´s set to scare your socks off with some seriously scary sounds. The grounds will be transformed into a terrifying set of tombstones, cobwebs and much more, with live performances and art installations guaranteed to chill you to the bone! Tickets are essential and usually sell out fast so get yours today! Limited 15 euro tickets will be available from hotel reception from Sunday the 8th October. Tickets must be collected before 30th October but may sell out before then.



Halloween 17 pres. The Psycho-Delic Circus at Boutique Hostal Salinas- Tuesday 31st October Midnight until 1st November 6am

And finally, if you still have the energy, the after party to really shock you to the core is always at the Boutique Hostal Salinas on Halloween. This is where you will see some truly terrifying sights, as the venue receives the hardcore partygoers from the previous events, who gather to see in the morning is seriously scary mode. DJ´s Ryan O Gorman and his ghastly crew will be rocking the dancefloor, and you can expect a veritable freak show as The Greatest Show On Earth pulls into town with killer clowns, bearded ladies, animal trainers and much more! Not one for the faint hearted!
